Nasim, a distinguished photographer and art director, co-founded Fine Cut Studio with over 15 years of experience in photography and multidisciplinary art. She holds an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and teaches at California College of the Arts and Foothill College. She has extensive experience teaching photography, design, and installation arts to children of various ages.
Recognized with awards from the Foundation for Contemporary Arts and H.A.R.D. Foundation, her work has been featured in international festivals in Italy, Japan, and New York but have also been showcased in prominent local venues. These include the Museum of Craft and Design, San Francisco Art Commission, Southern Exposure, Minnesota Street Project, Aggregate Space Gallery, Root Division, Kala Art Gallery, Soil Art Gallery, and the O’Hanlon Center.
At Fine Cut Studio, she brings her artistic vision and expertise to every project, transforming ideas into compelling visual stories.

Ala Mohseni

Filmmaker, Producer, Video Editor

Ala embarked on his illustrious career at a renowned advertising and filmmaking company. His early work, focused on crafting corporate, commercial, and industrial videos, laid the foundation for his diverse skill set. Ala's journey into documentary filmmaking marked a significant turn in his career, earning him accolades and recognition at numerous international film festivals around the world.
In 2010, Ala moved to the United States then obtained his Master of Fine Arts in Film from the California College of the Arts (CCA) in San Francisco. He has successfully taught stop motion animation, video editing, and videography to students of various ages.
He has collaborated with a range of esteemed clients around the San Francisco Bay Area, including industry giants like Apple and respected institutions such as Stanford University.
In 2024, Ala, alongside his co-founder Nasim Moghadam, established Fine Cut Studio. This venture signified a new chapter in his career, dedicated to producing high-quality videos, photos, and multimedia content.
